REACH LA - Ovahness Ball 7, Be the Generation Initiative (2012)
12018-07-30T01:26:05+00:00Adrienne Adams8b0bc889c846ab5bed3561fa5cd5ab7786d9e7fd17REACH LA partnered with leaders in the Ballroom scene, including Legendary Dashaun Lanvin (pictured above), to promote the initiative "Just B the Generation to End AIDS transmission." The initiative included giving out t-shirts with the phrase "Just B" on the front and adjectives such as "Fine" on the back." On Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, REACH LA hosted Ovahness 7: Escape from Wonderland at the now defunct GAM Arts Center (4975 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019). Like other Ovahness Balls, admission was free for individuals (particularly LGBT youth of color) who took a free HIV test at REACH LA.
